For those who have not known, Solitary Suanni, is the new enemy that can only be found in Chenyu Vale. And defeating it is the only way to get ascension materials for Xianyun.

Where can you find Solitary Suanni and how to unlock it? Solitary Suanni is located in Chenyu Vale and you don't have to do any special method to unlock it. Also, the boss does not stay in a hidden place. All that players must do is head to the nearest teleport waypoint around Chizhang Wall and arrive at the place.

2. How to defeat Solitary Suanni Genshin Impact

The first and foremost thing to know before dealing with the deer boss is it has two forms. You will lock horns with its Hydro and Anemo versions.

The Hydro form will turn the boss into water while the Anemo form is when Solitary Suanni summons Anemo orbs.

Solitary Suanni Hydro Form

To fight the Hydro Solitary Suanni, you must quip a Cryo character and another that can cause Shattered or Melt reactions.

You can use Cryo to freeze this opponent then quickly use Shattered or Melt to remove its Frozen state. This will make the deer boss fall and stunned for around 10 seconds.

For a better explanation, you can trigger Melt by using Cryo and Pyro characters. Meanwhile, Shattered happens when you hit the Frozen opponent with a Geo or Blunt attack. For Blunt, you can use attacks by Claymore, explosions, or Plunging attacks.

Solitary Suanni Anemo Form

Fighting the Solitary Suanni's Anemo form is a bit similar to when you have to fight Setekh Wenut in the game.

When it enters the Anemo version and shows some Spiritwind Pearls (Anemo orbs), you must utilize Elements that Swirl with Anemo to destroy the orbs. When the orbs are gone, the Solitary Suanni will fall and be stunned.
